Liza Couser (she/her) is a director of funny, complex, ensemble-driven new work based in New York City.

Select recent credits: MEAT (Director, The Tank NYC), Tracy Triceratops and the End of History (Director, Vox Lab), We Do The Same Thing Every Week (Director, Vox Lab), With Words That Don’t Exist (Director, Vox Lab), Primetime Theater Festival (Co-Founder & Producer), Polylogues (Producer, HERE Arts Center). Liza has collaborated and presented work with Ars Nova, Northern Stage, The Tank, New London Barn Playhouse, 59E59 Theaters, Theater for the New City, BRIC Arts, and Dartmouth College. She is currently a resident artist at Prototype 237 in Paterson, NJ, and she is an alum of the Roundabout Directors Group, SDCF Observership, Ars Nova Artistic Fellowship, and 24 Hour Plays Nationals.
